Chair's Chat April 2026
Dear Ringers, I am writing this while at the National Skills Day (which has turned into a full National Rally as so many people chose to stay the whole weekend!). Having just run a workshop on Shelley Ringing, while others attend sessions on topics such as 4-in-hand, bass bells, chimes, conducting and sight reading, I am reminded how fortunate we are in the South East Region. Not only do we have people to teach these (and other) workshops, the equipment to be able to run them

Dear Ringers, I don’t know about you, but I have been on the steady slope towards Christmas since July, but now is the time it begins to build up speed! As we gear ourselves up for concerts and the influx of requests for teams (from people who then wonder why we can’t find a team at short notice!), a Christmas together event is a lovely way to get together with other local teams. Dear Ringers, As I sit here watching the wildlife in my garden (and the black clouds gathering overhead!), I am grateful that it is not quote as hot as it was earlier this month. I am also grateful for those of you who attended our recent rallies and workshops.
