HANDBELL RINGERS OF GREAT BRITAIN
South East Region
We are dedicated to promoting handbell tune ringing in the South East of England; from Dorset in the West to Essex and Kent in the East. We regularly run rallies and concerts and provide teams with a link to the Handbell Ringers of Great Britain (HRGB).
Book a Team
Many of our teams are happy to ring for events throughout the year. Bell ringers are very popular at weddings, and can play during the ceremony and give a peal of bells as the couple leave the church. We can play at private concerts, in shopping centres,for care homes and hospitals and for groups small and large.
Things to be considered when booking a bell team is the space available; a large team may need space for four or more 6 foot tables. Fees can be negotiated with the team in question.

Join a Team
We are an active region, with many events and over 100 teams, and we welcome new ringers wherever possible. Some teams play from number notation and others use staff notation. Some teams belong to specific groups, such as schools, WI or U3A groups.
It is always possible to start up a new team. Please visit the HRGB website for detailed information about starting up a handbell team.
