THE SOUTH EAST REGION BELL ORCHESTRA

The first meeting of the next Bell Orchestra season, will take place on Saturday, 18th November 2023, in a new venue at North Camp Methodist Church, 45 Lynchford Road, North Camp, Farnborough, GU14 6EG. Parking is available behind the church. As usual, this will take the form of rehearsal/audition and will start promptly at 10.30am (to 4.30pm). The repertoire will include some of that used previously.

As before, there will be multiple sets of bells provided and each ringer will be allocated a specific place to ring, but you should be flexible if asked to move places. Each ringer will be expected to study their parts outside of the rehearsals. Staff notation will be used. Please note that the fees are due regardless of any absence.

23rd March 2024

13th April 2024

27th April 2024

Each session will start promptly at 10.30am (to 4.30pm) and the cost for each rehearsal, will be £5.00 per person to cover hall rental and liquid refreshments. This must be paid even if you are absent. Ringers are expected to attend every rehearsal, and have original copies of the selected music. Previous participants may already have some of the selections.

The planned concert date is Saturday, 11th May 2024 at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill, as usual. The day will start at noon with the concert at 3pm.
