The first meeting of the next Bell Orchestra season, will take place on Saturday, 23rd November 2024, in Cobham Village Hall, Lushington Drive, Cobham, KT11 2LU. Parking is available. As usual, this will take the form of rehearsal/audition and will start promptly at 10.30am (to 4.30pm). The repertoire will include some of that used previously.

As before, bells, chimes, mallets and music stands will be provided and each ringer will be allocated a specific place to ring, but you should be flexible if asked to move places. Each ringer will be expected to study their parts outside of the rehearsals. Staff notation will be used. You are expected to be a competent ringer of bells and chimes.

The rehearsal dates are as follows: 25th January 2025:

22nd February 2025

8th March 2025

22nd March 2025

5th April 2025

26th April 2025

Each session will start promptly at 10.30am (to 4.30pm) and the cost for each rehearsal, will be £5.00 per person to cover hall rental and liquid refreshments.  This must be paid even if you are absent. Ringers are expected to attend every rehearsal and have original copies of the selected music. Previous participants may already have some of the selections.

The planned concert date is Saturday, 3rd May 2025. Venue to be announced. The day will start at noon with the concert at 3pm.
